I didn’t hold you when you were first born

I didn’t pull out your first thorn

I was not there to kiss it an make it better

I was not there to do what I should

and I was not there to do what I could.

However, if ever you should need me even for just a cry

look up to the moon and pray to the sky.

I am just a whisper a way and you will feel my arms pushing all your hurt away.
